2026 broke "AI content marketing." Here's what's still working.

Two years of "publish 200 AI articles a month and watch traffic explode" promises ended badly for a lot of brands. Google's Helpful Content System hit AI-spam content hard. Sites that pivoted to mass AI publishing lost 70%+ of their organic traffic in single algorithm updates. The cheap content arbitrage is dead. What's still working — and working better than ever — is content with genuine substance: original perspective, real research, named authors with verifiable expertise, deep coverage of narrow topics, and honest opinions.

That's the kind of content I produce. Every article goes through a process: keyword and intent research first, content brief next, outline approved by you, draft written by a real human (me, or vetted writers I work with), edited for accuracy and depth, optimised for on-page SEO and AI extractability, and shipped with proper schema markup. The output reads naturally because it was written by someone who understands the topic — not assembled by a language model that doesn't.

For Filipino businesses, this matters even more. PH search results are flooded with thin AI content from international content farms, much of it badly tailored to the local market. There's a real opportunity for Filipino brands to publish content with genuine local expertise — written by Filipinos for Filipinos — and rank against international competitors who don't understand the local context.

FAQ

Common content questions.

Do you use AI to write content?

As a tool, yes — for outlining, research synthesis, and first-draft brainstorms. As the writer, no. Every published piece is human-written, human-edited, and reviewed for factual accuracy. That's the line: AI assists, humans decide. Pure AI-generated content is what got so many sites penalised in 2024–2025; I won't put your domain at that risk.

How much content should I publish?

Less than you think, better than you think. Most B2B brands do best with 4–8 deeply-researched articles per month rather than 30 thin ones. Ecommerce can usually go higher because product/category content scales differently. The wrong question is "how often should I publish?" — the right one is "what's the smallest content investment that builds defensible topic authority in my niche?"

Can you write in Tagalog or Taglish?

Yes for Taglish content (it's how Filipinos actually write online). For pure Tagalog, I work with a Filipino editor who handles the final voice. For Filipino businesses, the right answer is usually English content with strategic Tagalog phrases — that's how Filipinos search, and that's what ranks.

How long until content drives traffic?

Realistic expectation: 3–6 months for individual articles to mature into meaningful traffic. Topic clusters compound faster — once a few articles rank, internal linking lifts the rest. Publishing volume matters less than quality and topic coverage depth.

Do you cover technical or specialised industries?

Yes, with subject matter expert (SME) interviews to ensure accuracy. For deep technical content (medical, legal, financial, engineering), I work with vetted specialist writers and subject experts rather than pretending I'm a domain expert. Content gets reviewed by someone who knows the field.

What's a content brief, and do I need one?

A content brief is a structured document that defines what an article needs to cover: target keyword, search intent, competing pages, key questions to answer, suggested headings, schema requirements, internal links to include, word count target, and tone guidance. Yes — you need them. They're what separates content that ranks from content that gets buried. Briefs are included in every content engagement.

How is content priced?

All services start at $499 USD per month with a one-time $20 admin fee that is fully deductible from the first month invoice. The $20 admin fee is non-refundable. Minimum commitment is 3 months; 6-month and 12-month plans are available. We onboard a maximum of 5 clients per service category at a time. See the Hire Me page for full details.

Do you cover content distribution / promotion?

Partial. I cover on-site distribution (internal linking, related content blocks, schema, AI optimisation). I don't cover paid distribution (ads, sponsored posts) or organic social distribution — those are separate disciplines. I can recommend partners for those channels.

Ready to publish content that actually performs?

Tell me about your topic, audience, and goals. I'll show you what real content marketing looks like.
